Verbalytics: AI-powered verbatim intelligence for survey environments.
Verbalytics is an AI-powered verbatim intelligence platform designed specifically for market research, customer insight, and survey environments. Built by Rigour Research, it helps researchers move beyond simple text collection by analysing, validating, and enriching open-ended responses in real time.
At its core, Verbalytics evaluates the quality and usefulness of verbatim responses using a combination of deterministic scoring models, linguistic analysis, and large language models. The platform scores responses across dimensions such as clarity, relevance, specificity, and concreteness, and estimates the likelihood that a response was AI-generated or low-effort.

Verbalytics supports intelligent conversational probing through configurable follow-up questioning. RigourSignals: Bespoke behavioural fraud detection for online survey environments.
Signal is a purpose-built in-house technology that delivers real-time respondent quality scoring across over 100 behavioural signals during fieldwork. It addresses the growing challenge of survey data quality in an era of increasingly sophisticated fraudulent activity and disengaged respondents.
Where conventional QC operates on answer patterns and post-field review, Signal adds a continuous layer of behavioural intelligence throughout data collection. It works within the survey platform to capture behavioural signals: mouse movements, screen interactions, taps, timing patterns, keyboard activity, and environment characteristics. The system’s focus is to study how a respondent engages.

Over 100 signals combine to produce a composite quality score for each respondent. When the system is confident it has detected fraudulent activity, the survey is automatically closed mid-field rather than flagged for review afterwards.
